The babies just tried their first real food today - mashed potatoes and gravy, and some whipped fluff. Loved it.

I'm going to see mum tomorrow so I think I'm going to make a pumpkin pie for the first time with a butternut squash I was given today. I've got a basic recipe, are there any good tips I should know?

I've got a huge collection of pastry cutters, pies are my speciality. I've not seen an anti-burnt crust device before though.de officiis wrote:Anti-burnt crust deviceMontegriffo wrote:I'm going to see mum tomorrow so I think I'm going to make a pumpkin pie for the first time with a butternut squash I was given today. I'm seeing the first one upside down. Cute looking family though bro, the 2nd oldest has a really cheeky grin.GrumpyCatFace wrote:It’s right-side up on my phone, are you seeing them upside-down?Montegriffo wrote:I didn't realise you were Australians.
