It was a couple of 6-6 teams, but that's not the story.
Navy ran the ball 76 times for 452 yards.
Time of Possession Navy 42 min, Virginia 18 min

1st Team QB had 2 TDs
2nd Team QB had 5 TDs, none of these were passing mind you.

Navy only attempted one pass and it was incomplete.
These are more heavily weighted stats than the hay day of running attacks in College Football.
