Wow, Lundqvist looks awful, brutal goal to give up there, good on Gardiner to know he's soft tonight and just shoot it. Rangers have no defense either.

Looks like Zaits is gonna use that wicked KHL shot he has this year, atta boy Zee, it's about time. If he would just shoot the damn puck more, he'd be one of the top point snipers in the league, he's got a sick release.

Why Lundqvist is still in the net, I have no idea, pull him already, it's like they want to lose. They get what they deserve, Alain Veilleux is a moron.

Leafs still playing dog park dee-fence tho, this could be 5-4 Rangers in no time if they keep this up, Babs needs to get out of this period with the lead, so he can get a grip on this shit.

Re: NHL 2017-2018
Leafs just scoring their way out of trouble here, winning by firepower alone, on the one hand, firepower is nice, on the other hand, zone coverage is non existent, bad habits creeping in all over the place, can't be playing like this against the Hawks on Monday, that's fo sho.
Trade chances like this with Patty Kane, they're gonna get blown right out of the rink. No guaruntee they're not going to get blown out of the rink tonight, the way the Leafs are playing in their own zone, four goal lead is not enough, get a grip on this shit, Babs, right fuckin' now.

See what I mean? Just standing around in their own end puckwatching, If I was Babs, I'd start benching people right now, you don't want to play any defence? OK, you can sit for the whole second period, fuck you.
Pick a couple offenders and sit them for the rest of the game, just so everybody gets the message, and then double shift Matty and Marns.

Re: NHL 2017-2018
Leafs have completely fallen apart now, no structure at all, just running around freelancing, had a four goal lead and they're looking like they're going to lose this game.
Tellin' ya, Babs, should have benched somebody, these guy's aren't listening at all, need to do something to break out of this dog park dee-fence, somebody needs to be made into an example, just to scare the rest of them into paying attention.
Typical home opener, everybody fancy prancing around to impress the crowd instead of playing the system, and they screw the pooch and fall flat on their faces, saw this coming a mile away, man I hate home openers, always like this.

Hat tip on calling that before it happened. Smitty knows his home openers, especially as far as the Leafs are concerned.
