Re: Food and drink
This makes me wonder about those of you who unironically ask for a foot long in a brown bag.

Hot Sauces, I'm not a big fan of them, but I really do like Franks.

Re: Food and drink
Shopping finished, time to start the overeating and drinking too much.
Last night was a Greek style filo pastry pie with feta cheese, onion marmalade and cherry tomato filling. Served with a creamy pea and mushroom risotto, extra parmesan.
Been making a spinach lasagne today serving it with garlic bread and a nice leaf salad.. Homemade chocolate mousse with Egyptian strawberries (fuck the food miles )
Parmesan shortbread ready to bake for a few nice soft cheese canapé.
Time for a glass of port and a spliff in the garden.
Dry and mild so far today, birds are feeding hard on the nut dispensers.
Sister is at the beach volunteering as a marshal to keep the less bright dog walkers away from the new born seal pups.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Cooked a big American breakfast for the family this morning, which the kids mostly ignored.
Planning a nice little charcuterie tray for myself tonight, smoked salmon, dried sausage, aged cheddar, and Gouda.
Probably making tikki masala tonight from a jar. Which the kids will eat, because they’ll be starving by then.

Canapé are ready to go and I'm hungry.
Waiting for my bloody sister to get back from her do-gooding before we can tuck in.

I've been using a grilled fish recipe you posted for a couple years now, and with fantastic results.
How do ya roast, bruh? My roasts always come out just okay.

Process the potatoes, carrots, onions, and celery and put them in a mixing bowl. Add olive oil. Add your seasoning (today is just salt, pepper, herbs de province, and tarragon). Mix them up so oil and seasoning covers all the veggies.
Today I am using chuck pot roast that I never bothered to maranate. Apply salt and pepper to meat. Sear the meat on both sides in frying pan.
Pour a little bit of olive oil and beef broth into dutch oven. Place roast in there with no veggies. Roast on low temp (better at 300, but I am going with 350 since I am starting late) for about 45 minutes, uncovered.
Remove from oven and flip over the meat. Add veggies. Pour in the remaining beef broth. Cover the pot and return to oven. Roast for about two to three hours as desired.
Nothing fancy here.
