My brain freezes when I try the OP question, there's simply too much to consider! How about current shows? That would be Tyrion Lannister & Bronn from GoT, Alex Borstein as Susie Myerson the manager on Mrs Maisel.

Oh yeah, Bart the holistic assassin from Dirk Gently:
Did you just dodge a bullet? Bart: No, bullet dodged me. I can't be hurt. Universe won't allow it. Only constants are me and gravity. I'm special that way.

The greatest tv shows of all time, Magnum PI is still my favorite, but it was television whereas Wire and Sopranos is cinema on tv.

I consider the wire to be like a novel. Its weird how fleshed out it is for tv. Sopranos is second, but tbh I place it as a distant second, despite loving that show.

Agreed. Sopranos set the bar, but then the Wire surpassed it.

Roland Wee-Bey Brice is probably third favorite for me, behind only Magnum and Higgins.

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman however is not third behind Kilgore and Barnes.

If I had to add a third favorite movie character, it's HAL 9000

Space Odyssey is my favorite movie of all time, nearer, my God, to thee.

For third favorite female movie character, it's Cora Munro

Michael Mann is my second favorite director after Kurbick, by a cunt hair.

I'll give Stanley the nod for art over entertainment.

I suspect Mann himself might agree that Kubrick was the greatest.
