Too bad these games go so late. I've missed the endings (7th inning on) a few times now because I need to get to bed in order to work the next day. The SNF games was over by the time game 5 reached the 7th inning. Baseball takes too long, and in the playoffs it takes even longer due to the significance of the games. Lots of pitching changes, mound visits, stepping out of the box.
I'm sure ratings will be up because on the west coast it's still early, but for those of us in the eastern and central tie zones it goes too late.

As happy as I am for the Great Change in Chicago, they never should have put lights on that fucking ballpark.PartyOf5 wrote:Too bad these games go so late. Nobody wants to watch baseball starting at 9pm.

Little over an hour away. Will Houston end it on Halloween?

Thank God, the Penners, the GCFs, and the media didn't get to ruin this series. Cause they sure as hell tried. They kept trying to harp and push on that Gurriel gesture towards Darvish. They tried to drag baseball down in the morass that they have football in but the backlash was present on every venue. "Play ball" and "move on" were the exclamations and good on Darvish for not acting like a wounded victim.

I have no idea what Clubby is saying but as long as the Yankees don't win, I am happy.

Because you didn't watch, like the NFL, but unlike the NFL the media didn't get enough fuel to run the story into the ground. So you don't have a fucking soapbox to stand on and proclaim your virtue while actually telling us how much you hate this country. Get fucked lib.Penner wrote:I have no idea what Clubby is saying but as long as the Yankees don't win, I am happy.
