For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Re: Jobs
So, successful interview today looks like my next job is going to be here....
Half moated Manor house farm, earliest part built in 1288 with addition built in the 15th century using material from a local Abbey.
Stone mullion windows in the 15th century extension where the kitchen is.
St Peters Brewery make a large range of bottled ales on site including these...
I have worked there about 3 years ago doing some agency work when it was under different management.
The best bit is it is about 10 mins cycle ride from home so my commute through the local countryside will be a pleasant start to the day.

Oak panelled rooms with some 17th century furniture, walls covered with valuable political cartoons including one of John Bull the archetypal Englishman. 17th century French drape in the main hall.
Walled herb garden outside back door to the kitchen.
Traditional British country menu, paid me the rate I asked.
Lots of events including music, history society, vintage car clubs, weddings etc.
Enjoy your 2hr commute in heavy traffic to your airless cubical my friend

I feel bad now, to make you feel better just look at the knackered old door I have to go through to get to my kitchen.GrumpyCatFace wrote:I hate you so much right now.
Not to mention the limited choice of brewed on the premises ales I have to choose from.

Re: Jobs
So what's your position there? I expect a room for 4 to be available when I arrive with the family.
