Re: BIG Holiday Thread
That Darth Vader scene was one of the best scenes in all of Star Wars. The Prequels, new books and comics (especially these), The Clone Wars, and Rebels have done such a good job of making Anakin/Vader a tragic figure you forget how evil and awesome of a character he isPenner wrote:GrumpyCatFace wrote:Have to agree. Rogue One was a highlight of the entire franchise so far.C-Mag wrote:I've seen all of them except the latest release, sounded far too SJW for me to pay theatre bucks. Frankly the quality of films has been sinking since the original trilogy. Rogue One is the rare exception.
I have similar hopes for Solo, but I’m prepared to be disappointed.
Rogue One was an okay film in my opinion. I just didn't care for most of the characters (but some of them had a cool idea behind them. Like making a Jedi more or less like a Shaolin Monk). Although, what really threw me off was the creep CGI Gen Tarkin and CGI Princess Leia.
That being said, the best scene in the entire movie was Dearth Vader at the end. That was dope:
Also, the Battle of Scarif was cool to see:

Do yourself a favor and watch the Clone Wars and Rebels cartoon series. They're the best Star Wars media since the original movies. That guy, Dave Filoni, who's in charge of them would do a far better job at these movies than whomever Disney has SJWing up the jointMontegriffo wrote:I'm at least 3 films behind. NERD !
Ever notice the advertisements for general star wars stuff and all the pics or clips are from the original trilogy with only one or two from the other series
