I've seen all of them except the latest release, sounded far too SJW for me to pay theatre bucks. Frankly the quality of films has been sinking since the original trilogy. Rogue One is the rare exception.

Have to agree. Rogue One was a highlight of the entire franchise so far.

I have similar hopes for Solo, but I’m prepared to be disappointed.

Rogue One was an okay film in my opinion. I just didn't care for most of the characters (but some of them had a cool idea behind them. Like making a Jedi more or less like a Shaolin Monk). Although, what really threw me off was the creep CGI Gen Tarkin and CGI Princess Leia.

That being said, the best scene in the entire movie was Dearth Vader at the end. That was dope:

Yeah those were bizarre. I couldn’t believe how well they did Tarkins voice tho.

Staring into the Carrie Fisher Valley Face was actually creepy as hell. Tarkin's face was decent until he started to talk.

IMO, Disney has an agenda and the professional critics support that agenda.

How in the hell do you put Luke Skywalker on the screen for the first time in 30 years and not have him play a pivotal role ?

Disney also controls a massive portion of "the media".

The writing was fairly ridiculous. A couple of 'shock takes' with his life, a gag or two, and a cheap training montage waving a lightsaber, and now Rey is a jedi.

Luke's finale was pretty badass, tho. He did run circles around Kylo Ren, with a brand new Jedi superpower that totally should have been used for other events in the series.

I agree that the film was legitimately bad. and GCF has a point. Disney controls (right now) a giant portion of the media and they are going to control even more once they finish buying out FOX Studios.

What I don't understand is how the film script wasn't polished by someone else.
