C.C. is my favorite pimp,
Candy is my favorite hooker,
Vincent is my favorite bartender,
D'Angelo Barksdale is my favorite cop,
Frank Sabotka is my favorite construction foreman,
Jackie Aprile Sr. is my favorite mafioso.

At least through 3 episodes anyway.

I was extremely disappointed in season 7. I am so disappointed that it doesn't bother me that season 8 may not be out until 2019. It was VERY pretty, I'll give it that. Time travelling, though? WTF?

You talking about GoT? By time travelling, do you mean trimming down on the superfluous point A to point B travel time that bogged down every other season of the show? How is that a complaint from folks, honestly?

Because you don't build a fictional world, and then break the rules of that world when you feel like constructing "a moment".

Or maybe everybody else is wrong, and you're right. :P

The point A to point B travel time was the worst part of the show, and they cut down on it. You're just a crazy person, who needs to find fault with that, to justify your waning interest in the show. You should come up with a better reason to hate on the show, like "the plan to capture a white walker was stupid, and was poorly explained to rush the setup of a big moment", that is an acceptable criticism.

But seriously, when you are whining about them skipping the lamest part of the show, there is something wrong with you. Pick your battles better, it's not hard to legitimately criticize GoT, so there is no need to reach like an idiot and pretend that cutting down on point A to point B travel time is a bad thing.

Most of the criticism of GoT on this forum seems to come from folks expecting GoT to be the greatest show of all time, when they should be holding the show to a much lower standard.

It’s a fine thing, if that’s the only storyline happening. When you’re merging storylines, and one series of events happens at light speed to make them match, then it’s just shit writing.

If there is a good reason for the events to happen at light speed, then it isn't shit writing. The problem with GoT Season 7 was that there wasn't a good reason for things to happen at light speed, not that things moved at light speed in the first place. That's where your analysis breaks down.

Beyond the Wall: After walking for what seemed like a very long time, they send Gendry, who had never seen snow before, to run back to Eastwatch through wind & snow so they could send a raven to Daenerys at Dragonstone. His lungs have never been exposed to the cold before. He's going to be having to take constant breaks to give himself some time, or he'll collapse.

Now a raven has to fly 2,000 miles to get to Dany.

Even if Dany's dragon flies 100 MPH, she's still got a 20+ hour return run, and can a dragon fly 20 hours non stop? .

Completely unrealistic timelines. Not at all believable. They weren't sitting there a week plus waiting for all the middle-age travel speeds to get through. I don't need to see all 5 days of the travel (who wants that,) but I would expect something to, at a minimum, be plausible when applying best case scenario times to each leg of the journey.
