It's a fair point. Americans get excoriated by the left for causing so much waste when they really are given little choice on the matter. It's most offensive when people like Bill Nye The Fake Science Guy posit that white people should be limited in the number of children they have so they are replaced by non-garbage producing Africans, as if those people, after immigrating here, won't have to live in the same corporatist environment.

You can see here and in a few other places on the left that feminists are slated to become a new enemy of the left. All this other stuff they adopted is not really compatible with feminism. The freedom to have as many or as few kids as you want/can afford is targeted here. You also see them in the corner when it comes to transgenderism. All the racialists on the left have targeted white feminist women lately as well.

If they get tossed out of marxism, one might actually start to feel sorry for them.

Maybe. I don't know. Lots of people have written articles in some pretty mainstream publications and blogs attacking him for it, and he never came back and said he meant he was opposed to the idea. His own words seem to support it. Nor did he back up the feminist who took objection to it.

What has the left become when the feminist of all people looks like the protagonist and far less horrific than the mainstream leftist opinion? The idea of controlling fertility for some marxist political goal is frightening.

Technically yes as developed first world countries have a populace with more access to resources and energy. Ironically one of the tenants of progressives is bringing more people with less resources here and one of the goals of reducing carbon emissions is to tax here and subsidize the third world. Doesn't maek sense

Well, like I said, it's too late to stop it, so I've learned to just accept it and prepare. No point in slamming the gate after the horse is gone.
