Those simultaneous licenses are impressive, but I'm not really surprised they haven't generated fame on their own. Doctors and engineers don't get famous almost as a rule, and Americans aren't as riveted to the courtroom as Romans; you need to work some high profile cases to get known outside of that community.

To my judgement, however naive, what you are doing now is a good way to go about it, but it limits growth here really to those who heard and cared pretty quickly. I don't know how long it would take for that sort of growth to lead to greater fame in the general population.

I agree on both points: fame is Lucktocracy, not merit, however, there are a few things we're doing that give it a helping hand: running for office, the podcast, the Facebook page, the general idea of getting "Martin Hash" mentioned in various places. Minor niche fame helped my old business, we should at least be able to get to that level.

Every day I "Add Friend" about 10 people. I look to see how many common Friends we have, if they are Friends with someone political I know, and not related to my extended family. About half accept, and starting from 1 (my "Martin D. Hash" FB account) it is now up to 100. Only 40X that to go...

Up to 300 Friends on the "Martin Hash" FB account (after pruning out the many Trojans), mostly all local & political by narrowing the Friend Search to Friends of local politicians. I've looked at the successful politicians' Friend counts, and they all have 3000+, so I guess that will be our goal. I try to add about 20 per day, about half accept, so that should take about a year.

But it wasn't until the Ugi's fan page appeared that the chain took the Argentine internet by storm with its unorthodox social media strategy. The Ugi's Pizza Facebook page calls fans "morons" and "assholes," promotes drug use, trolls hecklers, and makes fun of its own pizza. It engages in offensive comment battles, and has created a community with over 170,000 fans who keep coming back for more.

The *only* problem with doing this is that Ugi's already had a fanbase in the area and used the tact to explode beyond it. It might be a good idea for later on though...
