First NHL point for the new boy.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Mason Marchment adds much needed grit, the question is can he keep up with the pace, skating wise

The stars have one period to show up to salvage the game, there's plenty of time

There was more patience with the puck in the 2nd. In the 1st there was too much knocking it forward into empty ice.

I don't think they got it tonight, no matter what Keefe has tried, all the stars are taking the night off at onceMontegriffo wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2020 6:59 pmThere was more patience with the puck in the 2nd. In the 1st there was too much knocking it forward into empty ice.

Knocking the puck straight out is a penalty?
Is that to protect the crowd?

No, the way it used be, the defending teams would flip the puck into the stands to stop the game when they were under pressure from the other team, without having to ice the puck by shooting it down the ice.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2020 7:06 pmKnocking the puck straight out is a penalty?

It became so prevalent that the league changed the rules to make that a delay of game penalty
So it's to force the defending team to get the puck out over the blue line without the cheat of flipping it into the stands
