We don't use chutes like the castration video either, this is the right way
Why would it be better to drag them around than use a chute?
Looks like a hell of a lot more overhead for all the horses and shit too.
Faster, less stress to the animals.
When you go through hundreds of head of cattle a day chutes take far too long. To run cattle through chutes you have to put them in tight enclosures, through an alleyway, then one at a time process them in the chute.
Roping you can process several animals at a time, its less stress time for calves. Rope em, drag em a short distance, brand, castrate, vaccinate and turn em loose.
Not a lot of folks still do it because it takes a lot of skilled guys. Good horse, skilled roper, skilled wrestlers, etc.
You can go through 3-4X as many calves with roping rather than chutes.

Probably around Puget Sound too.
The Wall O Walla Walla
Probably too late already, the mentally diabilitating diseases flowing out the the PRP already have their hooks in you. But you guys do have the Columbia River as a nice little barrier, just need some militia on the bridges keeping the undesirables out.

He also said Arabians are the second most laziest people on the planet. He might not have been bull shitting me.
You gotta use your teeth.
