It was a suggestion for a trolly political ad revolving around whiteness based on the same theme you presented in the OP, there. Dude, I'm a doctor; I can recognize passive aggressiveness when I see it. DB & HD almost always support me, even when they disagree; you, OTOH, have not inspired that same kind of confidence even though I respect your intellect. I can admire someone and still suspect they don't have my best interests at heart.

Clearly you can't in my case because it wasn't. I showed support by offering you what ideas I had. I don’t show support by saying stuff like "good job!" or "well done!". That’s simply not in me. I'm old school like that. Younger generation is generous with their compliments, both giving and recieving. Me... I am uncomfortable with both. I was raised with encouragements being something for children.

Hopefully, no one would disagree that harmful emissions coming out of industrial operators should be limited by law.
Same with cars, especially stationary cars.
I can't be the only person who thinks idling your car for 20 mins in a supermarket car park is out of order.

Isn't that what I did by knocking on her window and asking why her engine was running?
All that resulted in was her giving me a ''what the fuck has it got to do with you'' look.
She said ''it's hot'' I said ''open your windows then'' and she just ignored me.

Meanwhile, people are having to walk past her fumes to get to the shop.
If I see her again I'll report her lawbreaking to the authorities since social pressure had zero fucking effect on her.

It's hilarious to me how people are so eager to blame bp or exxon yet happily use whatever carbon emitting device they want whenever they want it. We all live in a society where we don't personally farm. We don't grow our own food, or generate our own power. Yet we buy shit, and complain online about carbon dioxide all the while emitting it nonstop and not wanting to give up any part of our amazing lives. Most environmental products like priuses are scams. Same with reusable bags. You are a fool if you think you are some moral high ground. If you don't like CO2, lead by example. Don't buy things from supermarkets. Don't own a car. Certainly don't post on here. That is a waste of electricity that leads to more gas in the atmosphere. We know you won't do any of those things, so shut the fuck up lol.

I want to reiterate this point too. Command economies are worse for the environment than Capitalist ones. This is proven by history. There is a book called Ecocide in the USSR that discusses the toxic chemicals, pollution, radiation, and environmental destruction caused by the policies of the Soviets. Many places in Russia and Central Asia are uninhabitable to this day from them. China is also not a "green country." Nor are places like Scandinavia btw, which simply virtue signal and export their pollution overseas.

Giving the gov't more power doesn't lead to a cleaner world. It just leads to you living in the same world with less freedom.

It is extremely disgusting to me how liberals today try to make this dichotomy between capitalism and socialism and use the environment as a reason. Its bullshit and doesn't hold up. Socialist countries have targets and 5 year plans based on growth. You cannot find a modern society that does not utilize growth in a fundamental way.
