That's a stupid fucking question. You are talking about mixed martial arts. Name one guy who is primarily anything.

False. Lots of guys have specializations, but no successful fighters are Capoeria specialist. There are boxing, wrestling and jiu-jitsu specialists a plenty, no Capoeria guys.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 8:25 pmThere are no anything-based guys at the top of MMA. It's called MIXED martial arts, LOL.StCapps wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 8:22 pmNo I'm not. I know many striking techniques that are from capoeira and don't require dancy dance movement. There are no Capoeira base guys at the top of the fight game for a reason, some top fighter use capoeira techniques, but as flavor, not as their bread and butter, because they don't like to lose.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 8:18 pmYou are confusing the acrobatics you see in the game with what people do in real fights. In an actual fight it looks a little more like kickboxing.

Who said anything about people having to only fight capoeira in an MMA fight but you? I just said that it was underrated, and you proved my point. When I show videos of it succeeding in MMA fights, you just accuse the winners of being Jews.StCapps wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 8:27 pmFalse. Khabib Nurmagomedov is primarily a wrestler. He does other things too, lots of other things, but wrestling is his bread and butter. Demian Maia is primarily a jiu-jitsu guy. Conor McGregor is primarily a boxer.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 8:26 pmThat's a stupid fucking question. You are talking about mixed martial arts. Re: Fight Club
You just used a dumb example, where the guy using Capoeria should have lost. There are lots of examples of Capoeria techniques being effective in MMA, even winning fights in MMA, and against high level competition too.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 8:28 pmWho said anything about people having to only fight capoeira in an MMA fight but you? I never said otherwise, Captain Strawman. Both your examples just sucked, not my fault you don't know any good examples apparently.

Re: Fight Club
You are running off on tangents and trying to refute a point that nobody was making. I didn't say somebody has to be primarily a capoeira fighter. LOL
This is you trying to back peddle from getting wrecked by the numerous examples of capoeira techniques used to win MMA fights. LMFAO

Re: Fight Club
I never claimed Capoeria techniques have never won any MMA fights, in fact I said the opposite on more than one occasion, but never once said what you accuse me of saying. There is no backpeddling, you're reading comprehension is just terrible.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 8:30 pmYou are running off on tangents and trying to refute a point that nobody was making. Dude you made your point. Whatever the fuck it was. Carry on. I am not interested in going down all your garden path tangents because you can't just admit you are wrong.

Re: Fight Club
That Capoeria isn't a good base for MMA, and isn't that effective of fighting style in general, even though some it's techniques have their uses. Agree or disagree?
