That is the problem. All the jobs are in the inner Bay Area, and all the somewhat affordable, not insanely priced, housing is way out in the boonies. Sometimes completely out of the Bay Area.Speaker to Animals wrote:jbird4049 wrote: I wonder if some people lack eyeballs.

So if you want a job, it's mostly San Francisco, and Santa Clara. If you want a place to live, well how does Santa Rosa sound? That is only a fifty mile commute. Two hours by car, or three plus by bus. Each way.

There are jobs outside of the city. Stop making excuses. Democrats are terrible urban planners.

Never been to California. California Haters: What is it about the state that you hate? Is it one big thing or many small things?

People in LA tend to be (and portrayed as) rude and shallow. I would say at least New Yorkers aren't shallow, like people in LA. Everything in LA is fake as well.

This seems correct but I have never gone to NY. LA is indeed shallow. In LA everyone is out to scam everyone. It's almost like a prevelant mindset took hold in LA and NY...Penner wrote:People in LA tend to be (and portrayed as) rude and shallow.
