Carrie Fisher died Tuesday morning ... days after suffering a massive heart attack on board a flight from London to LAX ... a family spokesperson has confirmed.

TMZ broke the story ... Fisher was on a flight from London to LAX Friday when she suffered the heart attack 15 minutes before landing. People on the plane tell TMZ she appeared lifeless.

A passenger who's an EMT performed CPR on Carrie and once the flight landed, paramedics rushed her to UCLA Medical Center where she remained in intensive care until her death.

The family had said she was in "stable condition" but we're told she was not responsive after her medical emergency.
Carrie had been on a publicity tour for her new book, "The Princess Diarist." The book recently made headlines because she wrote about having an affair with co-star Harrison Ford while shooting the original 'Star Wars' movies.

The author of Watership Down, Richard Adams, has died aged 96, his daughter has said.

Juliet Johnson said her father had been "ailing for some time" but "died peacefully" on Christmas Eve.

Watership Down, a children's classic about a group of rabbits in search of a new home after their warren was destroyed, was first published in 1972.

Adams was 52 when he wrote it, after first telling the story to his two daughters on a long car journey.

Mortals control gods by producing belief... stop believing and well they loose their "strength"... old adage...

Seemed like a good idea at the time.

No, Nukedog and his alt-right buddies fucked up and summoned him from the other side. They thought if they put a friendly cartoon face on him he would be controllable. Sad!

In hindsight, it seems they killed off the wrong original cast character in the last Star Wars film. Now they are down two characters.

Yeah, but Ford originally wanted Han Solo and Alex Guinness wanted Obi Wan to live in the first movie. IMO, JJ just gave Ford what he wanted when he killed off Han Solo. Also, he is already pushing 74, the man can't really do action movies like what he used to anymore. IMO, he should get more roles that are more like mentoring roles (in the movies) than flat out action movies.

Also, Fisher was only 60 and was the youngest out of the three original cast members.
