Have you seen him skate yet? Trying to jump on a moving train, three quarters of the way into the season, at 37 years old, already an aged out has been the year before? Against the Jets? Bad idear.

The Jet's have no weakness, their D is just as good, except way bigger, they're top nine is the deepest in the league, basically just going to have to be a goalie flame out for the Jets to get bounced, which, Hellebuyck is unproven, so I do leave room for that eventuality.

But if Hellebuyck maintains his pace that he's on now? I don't like your chances guy, they've got you seriously over matched up front, and they're at least your equal on the back end.

Bear in mind, they're in Winnipeg, so they don't get the media hype, but if they were in a big media market, they would be universally acclaimed as the best team in the league, which hockey insiders say they are, lack of media attention notwithstanding.

Nobody is unbeatable, but matching it up, barring a Hellebuyck meltdown, Winnipeg looks like too much for Nashville to handle, over seven games.

Too big, too fast, too deep, up front all the Jets lines are way better than Nashville's, on the back end, they have a D which is like Nashville's, except bigger, basically Hellebuyck just has to be good, not great, just good, and the Jets could literally waltz.

"But, but, we got Mike Fisher?" Yeah, er, ok there, but, y'know, Patrik fuckin' Laine on the third line, dude, alls I'm sayun'

And, yes, Laine is a full grown man.

Fisher being jacked up for his first game back and Nashville beating a bottom feeder team in the regular season nothwithstanding, the analysis stands, Fisher is likely to fade as the grind sets in and Nashville is in tough to beat Winnipeg in a seven game series come the head to head line matching.

Note; Ryan Johansen on pace for 12 goals (fewer than Seth Jones playing defense). Patrik Laine on pace for 42 goals (5th in the league)
