Depends. If Baghdad says leave, you don't have to listen. Fuck Baghdad, but if you do leave, you don't go back.

Point is, person who makes the call owns it. Obama wasn't pushed out of Iraq. Insurgency didn't retake Baghdad as helicopters evacuated the green zone.

Iraq was relatively calm and secure, then Obama:
  • 1 pulled out all troops
2 toppled the government in Libya
3 shipped guns from Libya to Syria
4 armed radical Syrian islamists who formed ISIS
ISIS overruns half of Iraq and Syria, killing tens of thousands of people, requiring US troops to return and retake the exact same territory.

Don't think for a second that the democrats don't own the current middle east problem.

+1
Nailed it.

Oh, and Obama called Libya a Shit hole and no one lost their mind over it
So, by trying to end the Infinite War, Obama is now responsible for the Infinite War.

Makes sense, if you don’t think about it.
For this totally not a democrat faggot, withdrawing US troops and arming the rebels after they're gone = trying to end the war.

There is nothing worth a shit on the democrat bench once you've moved left of vic.

I agree that was one of the things he was hired to do, and he did the opposite.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Can agree on that. He also took something like 7 years to do it. But that was somehow too fast for Okee.

yeah the "obama ended the wars" meme was one of the most egregious myths from his presidency. impossible not to cringe when that gets brought up

You're both fucking idiots. (not you mike)
President Trump has ended the clandestine American program to provide arms and supplies to Syrian rebel groups, American officials said, a recognition that the effort was failing and that the administration has given up hope of helping to topple the government of President Bashar al-Assad.

The decision came more than a month ago, the officials said, by which time the effort to deliver the arms had slowed to a trickle.

It was never publicly announced, just as the beginnings of the program four years ago were officially a secret, authorized by President Barack Obama through a “finding” that permitted the C.I.A. to conduct a deniable program. News of the troublesome program soon leaked out.

It joins similar failed efforts to deliver arms and money to groups seeking to overthrow governments that Washington found noxious, most famously the Kennedy administration’s disastrous effort to do away with the government of Fidel Castro in Cuba.

i remember when it was reported that the obama administration changed the classification for military age males to automatically record them as 'militants' unless their innocence was proven posthumously. that was a low point of the obama wars, imo
After interviewing dozens of current and former White House advisers, the New York Times breaks a lot of news in its story on President Obama's secret kill list, perhaps none of it more jaw-dropping than new details describing how the U.S. now calculates the number of innocents killed by our drones. What innovative method did our Nobel Peace Prize-winning president implement?

"It in effect counts all military-age males in a strike zone as combatants, according to several administration officials, unless there is explicit intelligence posthumously proving them innocent," the newspaper reports. "Counter-terrorism officials insist this approach is one of simple logic: people in an area of known terrorist activity, or found with a top Qaeda operative, are probably up to no good."

and to think, they had the balls to come out and claim only 117 civilian deaths, LOL: http://www.newsweek.com/strikes-during- ... ans-545080

i have a weird feeling that if donald trump had changed policy to classify MUSLIM males as ENEMY combatants we would hear charges of racism across the media landscape. i could be wrong
