Point is, person who makes the call owns it. Obama wasn't pushed out of Iraq. Insurgency didn't retake Baghdad as helicopters evacuated the green zone.
Iraq was relatively calm and secure, then Obama:ISIS overruns half of Iraq and Syria, killing tens of thousands of people, requiring US troops to return and retake the exact same territory.

2 toppled the government in Libya
3 shipped guns from Libya to Syria
4 armed radical Syrian islamists who formed ISIS
Don't think for a second that the democrats don't own the current middle east problem.
