Boys tend to love those lego games. I used to play the Star Wars Legos games for hours with my son.

Sweet. Thanks guys. I'll buy those.

I need to buy a second controller too. Is Xbox Live worth the $5/month?

Do yearly, you save money. Amazon has deals on them all the time too.

I've been playing the expansions for Dark Souls 3 this week now that the game of the year edition came out and they're amazing. I loved the base game last year but these solidify it as one of my favorites of all time. The whole series has been good but Dark Souls 3 has very approriate fan service and its atmosphere is best of all the games. The repeated moments of "is this what I think it is? ... Hell yeah it is" worked so well on me.

It's worth it if you play online but I don't know if a young kid would get that much out of it.

I also suggest the Lego Star Wars games. They're very ideal coop games that are simple and fun.

This is more for him than his kid... It's worth it overall. Also you get free games often, and some are good for kids, others are good for you.

Depends if you want to do multiplayer, etc.

I canceled mine a few months back. The TV has Amazon and Netflix built in, so no need for Xbox Live there. My pain has been curbed enough that I can play games on my PC again. In order to get the pain down, I am at the gym all the time, running, walking, etc. Anyway. So less time for that stuff. Need to spend more time on my AI toolkit anyway.

You may want to look into it again if you are going for Scorpio...

Yeah it just depends on what you're using it for. I get plenty of use out of a PS4 online subscription because most or all the games I play are online.
