Like I said, I made the attempt to illuminate vis a vis the OP, nobody was interested in that, they went back to their stock narrative filibusters, I went back to my hockey talk, I don't see that as burning anything down, I gave it the college try, but the Americans are only interested in shouting from their soap boxes and diverting all threads to that purpose, which is fine, but I gots to do something in the meantime, since by this time, I've read every single one of their stock narratives many times over, so there's nothing new, so back to hockey talk to pass the time, wot?DrYouth wrote:You know what Smitty...Smitty-48 wrote:No, loves me some NHL hockey talk, Capps is a very good hockey talker, so I'm good. As to burning it down, I don't see how one filbuster is any different from the other, the Americans have their filibusters, we have ours, fair is fair, no flames therein, don't mind us, just filibustering like everyone else is. /shrug.
I'm not sure this place would exist without you.
I would say you are the hub of the MHF...
So if anyone has a right to burn it down I would say it was you.
But I'm not sure where I'm going to head once you're done torching it.

Lighting this place up provided some entertainment...
I get bored of this place sometimes...
but I keep coming back.
I would just like it to be here when I do.

I'm not bored at all, I loves me some NHL hockey talk, I never tire of it, and it's trade deadline, which is always interesting.

Weirdly enough, we might like to speak to other posters as well. Somehow this is impossible for the Clown Canadians to image, being so very sure of their opinions on American culture.DrYouth wrote:Ya well, I'll keep that in mind...StCapps wrote:Stay here, me and Smitty will still be here, talking hockey, unless Child Porn Sally bans us. Vegas gave up too much for Tatar, Yzerman kills it again with the McDonagh trade, Preds gave up way too much to get Hartman.

Nothing is stopping you from doing that, except yourselves. Y'all self censoring ain't our fault, don't brame us roundeye.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Weirdly enough, we might like to speak to other posters as well. You guys do the same shit, you just can't take what you dish out, like the pussies that you are. We don't act like drama queens, run to the moderator for censorship, and/or grandstand about leaving the forum when y'all SIFCLF bomb every thread in this place. We can take what we dish out, y'all can't, it's that simple.

Like, I'm not saying Tomas Plekanec moves the needle that much for the Leafs, none the less, I'm quite excited to see what the four line roll out looks like with Plekanec as the 4C, he's not a top six guy anymore, but he's very intriguing as a roll player still.

I'm interested to see how it works out. Didn't give up that much, especially compared to some of the other rental prices.Smitty-48 wrote:Like, I'm not saying Tomas Plekanec moves the needle that much for the Leafs, none the less, I'm quite excited to see what the four line roll out looks like with Plekanec as the 4C, he's not a top six guy anymore, but he's very intriguing as a roll player still.

I also like the guy, good man, good pro, so I'm rooting for him, and I think the Leafs will treat him well for the duration of his likely short stay here.StCapps wrote:I'm interested to see how it works out.Smitty-48 wrote:Like, I'm not saying Tomas Plekanec moves the needle that much for the Leafs, none the less, I'm quite excited to see what the four line roll out looks like with Plekanec as the 4C, he's not a top six guy anymore, but he's very intriguing as a roll player still.
It's like Boyle, I didn't expect Boyle to move the needle that much, but I've always liked Boyle, so it was fun to have him along for the ride, just from an entertainment standpoint.

Honestly, Martin and Kath have a point. It's obvious the forum is dead until the two of you are banned. Capps in particular has nothing to add. He's lost about twenty IQ points from constant drug abuse since we first encountered him about eight years ago. Smitty just drowns out all discussion he doesn't like with spam (which ironically is a form of censorship).
