Well it mostly the latter which is causing him to lose the room even faster than expected, it's a vicious cycle. Plus Duchene-cancer, but that goes without saying.Smitty-48 wrote:It's like what's the difference between Ottawa this year and Ottawa last year? Bad goalie year and superstar player hurt, down Ottawa spirals, the wind is out of the sails and they all start floundering.StCapps wrote:Well it mostly the latter which is causing him to lose the room even faster than expected, it's a vicious cycle. It's the same with the Leafs, right now it basically comes down to which Freddie do they get. Freddie Vezina and they can stay afloat, Freddie Toskala and they sink like a stone.

Leafs-Avs, get hype Smitty, Bernier wants revenge.
Got a chance to snap that win streak of ours, too bad Reilly is out, that'll make it tougher.

Standing by. Stopping the MacKinnonator is a tall order indeed, everything he touches is going into the net right now, the Loafs certainly have their work cut out for them.

Gabriel Bourque lulz, he sucks. Freddie Toskala making an appearance leaving the five hole open for that rebound.
Good play by Jost.

Polak and Borgman lost in space again, surprise-surprise, the Avs get a free shot at Freddie while Borglak puck watches.

It's all pylons, whatever Babcock is doing, it's not having any effect, this team is spiraling down, but as I've said, not necessarily a bad thing, when it's not built to win, then might as well keep the wheat, dump the chaff, and carry on with building, because this teams not going anywhere as currently constructed, apparently.

If it wasn't Babcock with six years left on the deal, this coach would have been fired by now, Most Overrated Coach In Hockey has lost the room, because this team is completely discombobulated and they don't seem to care too much, they seem to be sending the message; fuck Babcock, and yet Babcock just keeps throwing the same guys out there to do fuck all for him.
There's nothing too complex about their problem, they're just lazy and disinterested, game after game after game, and it ain't changing, it's the same every game, they just ain't showing up for this coach.

Wtf is Matthews doing on that 5 on 3, my god man, shoot the puck.
Who does he think he is? Alexander Kerfoot? I think even Kerfoot would have shot it there, your boy Auston was just straight sleepwalking through that first period and especially that two man advantage.
