Another thing about that Incan' s video.. apparently organic food is significantly cheaper there than the big Agra crap because of their farming practices and high yields. I'd like to learn more about how they do it.

Ryan Zinke orders natural resource agencies to increase access to people
http://nwsportsmanmag.com/headlines/zin ... ng-access/
“The more people we can get outdoors, the better things will be for our public lands,” said Zinke in a press release. “As someone who grew up hunting and fishing on our public lands – packing bologna sandwiches and heading out at 4 a.m. with my dad – I know how important it is to expand access to public lands for future generations. Some of my best memories are hunting deer or reeling in rainbow trout back home in Montana, and I think every American should be able to have that experience.”

His order calls for:
•The Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and National Park Service to come up with plans within four months for expanding access to hunting and fishing on their lands;
•Amend management plans for national monuments to specifically ensure hunting and fishing on them;
•Identify federal lands where those activities are limited;
•Expand outreach to underserved communities;
•Develop a “one-stop” website outlining sporting opportunities on all Department of Interior lands;
•And improve wildlife management collaboration with states, tribes, conservation groups and others.

Also, Zinke looks to mover Federal Land Management Agencies out of the Washington DC cesspool to the West.
Gardner Proposal to Relocate Bureau of Land Management to the West Gains Momentum

Washington, DC – Earlier this week, a report indicated Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke plans to relocate the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to the West, an idea first proposed by Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO).

Could also add Federal Wildlife and the National Park Service going west too.

Anybody eaten mullet? I tried one once and it wasn't very good but I keep catching some fairly big ones in my cast net. I wonder if there is a good way to cook them. I might try one in a taco sometime.

Ugh. They make decent bait for snapper or grouper. Other than that, iunno.

Yeah I usually use them for bait. I let a few big ones go last night cause I don't feel like cutting up one that big. I hardly catch anything anyway just one sand trout on a quartered mullet while reeling in fairly quickly. That trout was good actually.

When I'm down to Apalachicola, on days when the weather keeps us from going out deep, the sea trout and redfish are pretty damn fun inshore. The redfish (and the occasional flounder) are harder to come by, but we just murder the trout in the morning on the windy days. Bread 'em and hot-grease 'em. :goteam: :drunk:

What do you catch trout on? A lure?

Live shrimp on a light jig.

It's the equivalent of fishing off a bridge in Tennessee with crickets and a sleeve of Natty LIght. :goteam: :drunk:
