Their justification for all the time-warping travel bullshit? "The show is doing well. "
It only seems like time warping because of how drawn out it was in past seasons of travelling from Point A to Point B. I like that GOT is cutting down on travel time, you honestly want more of characters traveling from Point A to go do something important at Point B, and have it drag out for episodes at a time before they get to Point B?
You've got to be trolling me. If that's the shit you enjoy most about this show, then you need to be institutionalized. It's like you hate plot developments and want the story to crawl by as slowly as possible, you would prefer they waste large portions of screen time on travelling from Point A to Point B, even when there is so little time left to tell the rest of the story, so it makes even less sense than it used to during the earlier seasons to drag shit out, yet you still want them to slow down?
What the fuck is wrong with you? You do know that there are only six episodes left, right? Yet you seem to want them to waste 2 or 3 of those remaining episodes on travelling from Point A to Point B, otherwise they are guilty of time warping? Taking a whole season to get Tyrion from King's Landing to find Dany in Essos, that's not good television, sorry bro, that's bad writing. They could have cut his travel time in half easily and it would have worked sooo much better. It's a delaying tactic, this is not a novel, that shit is filler on television shows, and the Tyrion-Varys comedy duo was hardly worth the screen time that was wasted on it. Yet you want more of that?
Yeah you would make a fantastic showrunner of GoT, we should all listen to your suggestions on how to make the show better.
You can talk shit about Benioff and Weiss all you want, but they make infinitely better showrunners than you would. You'd fuck up the show far more than they could ever dream of, you'd make the show unwatchable for everyone but the book snobs and you'd think that somehow makes for a better television show. If you were in charge, the show wouldn't be a big hit.
