It's not a neutered TV show. The Show is better than the Books, the books aren't anything special, they just sell well. Game of Thrones is the best show that everyone watches, the novels are nowhere near the best book that everyone reads. If you think the books are better than the TV show, then you are part of the problem, and if Benioff and Weiss never listened to any of you morons who actually think that, then the show would be even better than it is.

The book snobs don't have a clue what does and doesn't make a good television show, they just like to pretend they are better than everyone else who enjoy the show more than the books, they look down their noses and believe their tastes are so superior, but they are just snobs who wouldn't know a good television show if it smacked them upside the head.

Well, if you say so.

Their justification for all the time-warping travel bullshit? "The show is doing well. "

It only seems like time warping because of how drawn out it was in past seasons of travelling from Point A to Point B. I like that GOT is cutting down on travel time, you honestly want more of characters traveling from Point A to go do something important at Point B, and have it drag out for episodes at a time before they get to Point B?

You've got to be trolling me. If that's the shit you enjoy most about this show, then you need to be institutionalized. It's like you hate plot developments and want the story to crawl by as slowly as possible, you would prefer they waste large portions of screen time on travelling from Point A to Point B, even when there is so little time left to tell the rest of the story, so it makes even less sense than it used to during the earlier seasons to drag shit out, yet you still want them to slow down?

What the fuck is wrong with you? You do know that there are only six episodes left, right? Yet you seem to want them to waste 2 or 3 of those remaining episodes on travelling from Point A to Point B, otherwise they are guilty of time warping? Taking a whole season to get Tyrion from King's Landing to find Dany in Essos, that's not good television, sorry bro, that's bad writing. They could have cut his travel time in half easily and it would have worked sooo much better. It's a delaying tactic, this is not a novel, that shit is filler on television shows, and the Tyrion-Varys comedy duo was hardly worth the screen time that was wasted on it. Yet you want more of that?

Yeah you would make a fantastic showrunner of GoT, we should all listen to your suggestions on how to make the show better.

You can talk shit about Benioff and Weiss all you want, but they make infinitely better showrunners than you would. You'd fuck up the show far more than they could ever dream of, you'd make the show unwatchable for everyone but the book snobs and you'd think that somehow makes for a better television show. If you were in charge, the show wouldn't be a big hit.

You silly ass. Why do you think there are only 6 episodes left? Because they ran out of material, or because there's a set limit on how much money they want to make?

Because having the show go on forever would ensure that it gets shitty before the end because they would run out of material, at some point. They figure it's best to end it before they really do run out of material in this incarnation of the show. Spinoffs will keep the money train rolling, they don't need to keep GoT going forever to keep making money. They can attempt to give GoT a proper ending and then do a spinoff or two, while having their cake and eating it too.

How's that working out for AMC?

Pretty good. The Walking Dead and it's spinoffs are still raking in the money. They didn't keep Breaking Bad going longer than it needed to, and now they've got Better Call Saul. HBO would love to have as much success with a GoT spinoff as AMC has had recently with their spinoffs, critically and/or financially, that's for sure.

The scene between Snow and Theon was good. John is finally becoming a true leader. I think Khalessi will end up dying next season but Jon Snow will be the King of Westeros. I'm looking forward to seeing Cerise's fate and how Jamie will deal with what's happening. Good on him for finally leaving that retched bitch.

If only Kit Harrington had charisma, it would be much easier to care about Jon Snow.

No doubt, but they're just a swiftly-fading echo of the original.

Does GoT have anything left to tell, after blowing their zombie/dragon load all over the place? You can't top the spectacle, and the budget would never be close to what they have for the main show. All that's left is the 'boring' stuff that was handed to them on a silver-fucking-platter in novel form.
