No, no, and for one year but as soon that leg broke his value crashed. Brees, Rodgers, Brady are elite NFL QBs deal with it.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Drew Brees - One of the top statistical QBs of all time, maybe a couple of charity commercials?clubgop wrote:And the two never stray far from each other unless you got multiple rings.GrumpyCatFace wrote:
Tom Brady costs his team about $70 million a year. You can buy an entire defense for that.
He's making it because of his marketing value, not his playing ability.
Aaron Rogers - Solid, not great, raking in millions a year from State Farm, owns half of Green Bay, WI.
RG3 - Mediocre-at-best, Subway spokesman, gigantic paychecks.

The myth of the mighty quarterback carrying the team is just marketing.

What teams? Saints -meh, Packers-great, Browns- now you are just being a dishonest prick. But your argument kinda proves one of my points. Maybe Brees and Rodgers are average, they arent, but lets say they are. They won one ring got a wage hike and cap room couldn't put humpty dumpty together again.GrumpyCatFace wrote:And how are their teams performing? Sure, that's nice but notice teams never have all those things? Salary cap. You might win one but that average QB will want more money, you get a low draft pick, and no cap room to seek FA, see Baltimore.

I think you're getting my point. Having an all-star QB is not the key to success. You do not win Super Bowls with just overpriced guys throwing the ball.

Rogers almost carried his team to the Superbowl. If Atlanta was a one trick pony, he could have pulled it off.GrumpyCatFace wrote:And how are their teams performing? I think i'm going to root for the Falcons just for Okee.
Otherwise I'd want to root for Brady because of his dream Ugg modeling but the Falcons and Matt Ryan deserve a championship
