Probably going to have 3 to 4 Patriot Hall of Fame receivers out of this Dynasty.
Oh I'm sure there will be.

I mentioned it a while ago in this thread, but Brady needs, for lack of a better term, a binky. Not necessarily a receiver that's Randy Moss, but a good receiver that Brady has built a rapport with. With Amendola out with a concussion, Brady never really had that last night in the second half, which I think pushed Brady to start hucking it deep (which has never been his bread and butter) recklessly. It's one thing when you're younger, but 40? You won't get away with that nearly as much. Gronk's not that kind of guy, either. A guy like Edelman sets the tempo for allowing Brady to spread the football; that clearly wasn't there last night.

I ultimately think Cooks can be that guy this year. Brady did have one play on that 2nd & 17 where, instead of giving it to Cooks for 10 or so and making it a manageable 3rd Down, he needlessly went deep.

O-Line flat out quit by the end of that game. Very uncharacteristic for a Scarnecchia-coached O-Line. And throw this one on Josh McD a bit too, if the deep ball isn't working, why the fuck would you keep doing it? Also, you have solid pass catching RBs, fuckin' use em, Josh.

If Brady's performance is consistently poor over the next few games, then I'll start getting concerned. Right now, one bad game isn't going to do it for me.

That's true, but the Pats should be treated like any other team. In the NFL, you lose one game, especially when you get blown out, EVERYTHING is questioned. That's how things are treated in the league, what have you done lately, gotta prove it every week.

Last year doesn't matter. No affirmative action kid gloves for anyone. The Saints watched that game last night and are figuring out if they can push around the Pats front 7 and run past their back 4. They aren't going sit there and obsess over an aurora of Patriot greatness.
Yeah I'm guessing the Saints will do a number on them. The Texans figured out how to beat them last year. The Steelers didn't pay attention and got smoked because they would only run Zone coverage. The Falcons would've won the SB if they stuck with Man coverage instead of reverting back to Zone and allowing Brady to pick them apart.

Typically in the NFL when a team has a scheme that I s shredding teams someone will Crack the code and everyone follows suit. Andy Reid had 9 months to prepare for this game........ Don't Fuck with the Walrus.

The Pats, in the past have been versatile enough to change game plans, we get to see if they can do it again.

Note: How in the Hell can the Pats knock a punter down on 2 consecutive plays and not get a Roughing Call
Better question is how in the hell to they hit the punter two plays in a row? Very sloppy for a Belicheat team.
There is a time for good men to do bad things.

Well balanced comments ^^^

Cooks is not the guy, he's a no. 3 receiver at best, Amendola is only a 2. Gronk is a HOF TE, but can't star without a Hernandez on the other side and a Welker in the Slot.

As far as O Lines, both QBS got pretty equal pressure last night, KC blew away NE on the run. Alex Smith showed what he can do with a strong supporting cast performance.

Brutal 2nd half.

As for skeevy liberal values, you're the one that lives in Mass, faggot.
And you know by now I don't hold the same values, so what's your point? And I'm willing, as long as you show yours first. I never trust a liberal with money or promises... they never pay up.
1. GCF is not a liberal, he's more libertarian.
2. I don't trust people who claim to be conservative.
He's pretty big government for someone who you claim to be libertarian.

See point #2.....I don't trust you.

Now back to Football. I think Dallas will fall back to earth this season. 10-6 and another one and done in the playoffs. That being said I think their future might be bright.
