Fargo (Season 2) was the best TV drama of 2015. Mad Men (Season 7) and Justified (Season 6) had their final seasons that year and went out in style. The Leftovers (Season 2), The Americans (Season 3) and Better Call Saul (Season 1) are also shows from 2015 that are well worth mentioning.

Also, the spin off shows will likely deliver. So much content out there it would be difficult to really screw it up with the production HBO has at its disposal.

They have an a insanely huge production budget, all the resources they could ever need, a massive hit show, and they hang it all on 2 hack writers, and cram through the source material as fast as possible, skipping content for flashy moments.
