Perhaps it says more about Sweden than Carter, but there it is.

In Munich Germany JFK, and Reagan were revered. I think in Carter’s time it would of been Helmut Kohl that was PM of West Germany.

I think he was later. I remember him in the 90s.

Kohl was '82 - '98
Helmut Schmidt was the Carter years.
