Pretty sure the Leafs would beat the Cubs in a baseball game.
Do go on..

It's obviously, really.

Cubs have very little protective gear and, while their weapon -- I mean bat -- is fearsome compared to the hockey stick, the hockey players are better used to brawls. The Leafs would almost certainly beat to death most of the Cubs before the police rolled up on the field.
By the rules of baseball, the Leafs would be forfeit the game, upon having their entire team ejected.

Next time you use that one, try "Pretty sure the Leafs would beat the Cubs on a baseball field."

I don't get the game, either, but I'm guessing it's popularity is based on the cost to play. When everyone rallies around something in the name of national pride, and you grow up in that culture, you're going to love it. Chances are ridiculously high that if I was born in India and raised by Indians, I'd love eating curry. (I can't stand the smell of curry.)
You would also grow up loving cricket and kabardi.

I'd actually enjoy playing that, I think.

Baseball used to be great. Any of you all remember Pascual Pérez? Sheer lunacy.

A combination of tag and British bulldog while holding your breath. What's not to love about the game.
Back in the 80's channel 4 used to cover it on TV here.
Great game to play with no equipment what so ever required.

Bloody Capps is now filling up my inbox with whiney messages about Italy not qualifying for the finals because they couldn't beat Sweden.
Tell him Hastur, everyone knows what you have to do to qualify and Italy fell short.
Didn't win wants a rule change, Capps has turned full snowflake on us.

Why are you playing the part of Capps' secretary? Just curious.

Italy thought they just had to walk past Sweden and pick up that final playoff spot. Then suddenly.
