Do you still go there?

Every once in a long while, I do. Just been lurking the conspiracy theory section for lulz, mostly.

I still check in most days and post occasionally. I just find it too big, interesting threads get 500 posts overnight and no one bothers to read them all so there is a lot of repetition with the same points coming up again and again.
There are insights to be had there and a lot of good posters.
I just noticed this link about Trump's military parade.

I still hang at political forum.

The views over there are quite similar to here, there's just more of it from all directions. The bad part is you have "but but Obama" and "but but Trump," being exponentially worse. OTOH, the voices in the middle are in extra supply as well, so there's also more sanity.

The ignore features over there are awesome, so the experience can be tailored to mute out the posters who are nothing but garbage. By ignore, it's truly ignore. If someone quotes them, you won't even see the quote or see the fact that it's missing, which cuts down on the background noise considerably.

The moderation can be quite heavy, which is a downside. The upside, though, is there are no graphic details of men violating children's assholes and when you go into a thread to discuss hot dogs, it doesn't break out into hundreds of pages of hockey talk.

Give and take. I've learned a lot over there; simply because there is a much larger pool of people who may say something of value, once in awhile.
