Yep. Same here. I remember once Dad let Buck inside during a storm, and made it known that it wasn't gonna be a regular thing.

The demographic groups that see dogs as companions are those that are farthest removed from seeing dogs as a food source or utility.

This is probably why we treat pigs like shit.
