Yes, I know the word are should be replaced with is, it just didn't' sound right. And I know I am not the most educated person here, but I do also know where my limitations are.

So . . . who do you think the most educated here is?
Because when it comes to academic achievements recorded in paper form I'm unaware of anyone remotely close to rivaling the host.

Okay, real-talk bruh...

If you are writing a novel, absolute fidelity to the laws of grammar mightn't be the biggest concern. Let your linguistic freak flag fly, 'cause soon enough some AI is gonna be writing fantasy novels that follow all the damn rules.
HAIL!

Her needs America so they won't just take his shit away like in some pussy non gun totting countries can happen.

Yeah, any amount of serious fiction writing will quickly teach you that grammatically correct is often diametrically opposed to relateable.
The sentence fragment is your friend.

Personally, I think that proper grammar can make the character more relatable. Character nuances, etc... I agree grammar can suck my left nut. But if you can't comprehend what they are doing, or attempting to say/do, no matter how much you let your freak flag run up, the story won't get off the ground...

Although 50 Shades of Gray Image threw most of my argument out the window, my wife tried reading that and gave the book back after reading five pages because she couldn't get past the grammar issues in it.

In every endeavor, it's best to know the rules before you break them.

50 Shades didn't care about rules... if the movies were actually done the way the book was written... it would have been more funny than serious. not to mention the story had the entire dom/submissive story wrong...

And I don't want to break rules writing, more like bend...
