The new Star Trek series will likely suck because they will be more focused on SJW story telling than story telling. Like the 3rd Star Wars series, no new story, re-hash a good story, but stock it with SJW figures.

I liked Jon Pertwee as well, but Tom Baker was also the longest running doctor as well... for me though the issue with the newest doctors is that they went against canon. The last few doctors are "extra lives"... if anything if we go by canon, "The Master" is theorized to be The Doctor's last life... So when if at all were we ever going to see that?

Only supposed to be 9 regenerations before time Lords die but they seem to be ignoring that little detail.

Technically not a shape shifting creature, a regenerating. You can't regenerate something that didn't exist in the first place.

I don't like it, but I haven't liked the show much since Davies and Tennant left.

It's not a problem with females - Missy is the best character in years. Better than Capaldo for sure.
