this is how it was in Cold War One

the Soviets would not nuke a country with its own strategic deterrent

so they wouldn't nuke France, nor Britain, nor America

but the Russians could certainly tac nuke Romania and get away with it

it really comes down to global finance now

there is 330 trillion in debt for only 110 trillion in assets

so there is three times as much debt as there is money in the world

when that bubble pops, is when the shit hits the fan

it's not so much that America can't weather the storm, America can handle it

the Russians can't however, so that is when they will resort to war

the flashpoint right now mind you, it's actually Belarus

Lukashenko in Minsk

if an Orange Revolution overthrows Minsk as it did Kiev, it's hard to predict what the Kremlin might do

they are however building a force to invade Belarus and come to the Sulwalki Gap against NATO

here's the map trace to glean how point blank this is

Belarus to the north, Ukraine in the middle, Moldova to the south

none of these countries are in NATO, so the Russians can go quite far without inciting Article V

not that the Russians would fly off the handle and start a war on the drop of a hat

I am talking about a scenario where a global debt crisis left them in a position where they couldn't pay their bills anymore

at which point it becomes a choice between capitulation and coming to the West cap in hand, or doing something to breakout with leverage

this was the strategy of the Soviets as well

they didn't actually intend to fight NATO down to the last man in all out conventional war

they would employ escalation dominance to create a crisis so perilous that it forced NATO to the bargaining table on the Kremlins terms

Any financial crisis will trigger a world financial crisis, at which point, Russia will be in the same boat as everybody else with nothing to gain. NeoCons are going to have to get Trump arrested first, otherwise they'll be too busy dealing with him coming after them to instigate any global ambitions.

Germany was in the same boat as everybody else in the Depression as well, but their New Deal was quite different from America's

nuclear war is so scary, that the bourgeoisie will reflexively deny that it is even possible to have a nuclear war

no matter what on the internet, the response is always "can't happen, won't happen" as if it is somehow against the laws of physics

which is what makes it viable, if you don't believe it is possible, then like Obama you are far more willing to go into Ukraine head to head with them

what was once obviously crazy, is now on the table, because Neoliberals don't believe nuclear war is possible anymore

Meh.

After 4 years of constant Russiagate hoaxing I gotta admit to not giving a fuck about Russians or what they're up to.
Fuck Russia.
Don't care.
