I used to like Stephen King when I was younger, but I've come to realize that he's pretty much shit. The man can't end a book to save his life(not that the beginning or middle were any good either), and I can think of maybe one or two stephen king books adapted into movies that were not utter trash. Even when you listen to king in audio book form it kind of makes you cringe. Hearing some of those lines out loud can cause some form of auditory cancer. I liked that movie The Mist from 2007, and that might be it. The Stand and IT were pretty awful adaptions, as I'm sure the new IT adaption will be. If you listen to King's politics, he's a retarded little fuck and cuck boy lib too, which doesn't earn him any points in my book.

Wait, is it out already?
Yes its out now. And Dark Tower is coming out soon to. Good times.
Oh, okay. I guess now I have to go to the movies to just catch up. I mean I am partially interested in seeing this movie but.... at the same time I really didn't like Prometheus and it sounds like this is a continuation of sorts of that story. Although, I am excited to see The Dark Tower and I even read the first book in the series just to get a feel of what it is about, etc...I might have to read the second on just to see if they are going to combine both books (are they going to do that?). I am also looking forward to seeing Spider-Man: Homecoming.

What was your favorite movie of 2016? I'm wracking my brain, and I can't think of mine atm. I saw a lot of flicks, but they didn't make much of an impression on me I guess. What a bummer.

I liked that one. I really enjoyed the lebowski standoff in the end.

Did you guys watch American Honey? I'm not sure how I feel about it honestly. Its kind of depressing but brutally realistic at times. It reminds me of those Harmony Korine/Larry Clark movies like kids or Gummo, or Ken Park.

I'm sticking with Rogue One.

Star Wars was my shit when I was in elementary and middle school, but I have become jaded to the whole thing now. At first I went through the stages of denial where I thought it was just the prequels, but then I watched the old ones again and I came to the realization that these are kids movies. They are not particularly well-made. That is fine, because kids do love them. I certainly did. It troubles me when I see adults go apeshit about star wars though. Maybe if I had kids I would get more excited idk. I went to see The Force Awakens with my gf and I was pretty amped up when Hannah's boyfriend killed Han Solo. I wish they got rid of Luke, because Hamil never was much of an actor.

Of course they're kids movies. Any action/western/sci-fi is. But I get much better feels from it than any other, except maybe Star Trek (prior to JJ Abrams fuck that cunt)

If I want to think, I'll watch a documentary.
