All that said, I wish that the conversation about Kavanaugh could have been about his supposed hatred of the 4th. That's a very real concern I have, but it's pushed to the side, because I'm a woman, so therefore everyone assumes I believe he is guilty of stuff that is unknowable. So, with a huge thanks to Feinstein, we have a new justice who may relish at the thought of curtailing my freedom even more, because instead of discussing his views on the 4th, we had to talk about beer, farting and yearbook committee activities.

Uh what? They had the normal hearings first for 3 days did you not see them? His judicial record on the 4th is no more a threat than Kennedy or the centrist of the court. The Dems had all the chances in the world to go after them. The circus of the Thomas Part 2 Electric Boofalo was in addition not a preemption. Partisans may indeed suck, your eye for detail and "nuance" certainly do.

She's not defending the Dems, or stating that she believes Ford.....She's stating that she's pissed off that instead of focusing on Kavanahugh's stance on stuff that's really critical to the survival of the republic and liberty, these things were pushed aside/glossed over by the DNC (and the GOP as well) so that the DNC could sling mud.


Goes back to what I said early, the GOP won the nomination - but is Kavanaugh really the best guy to defend our liberties? Granted, he's far better than any marxist hack Billary would have nominated.

Ima gonna go meta here and point out that even she obsesses over the wrong issue.

We ought not even have to worry about the political and legal positions of potential Supreme Court judges but, rather, how in the fuck are we going to take back all this power seized by the judiciary.

The Supreme Court does NOT have the constitutional authority to do any of this bullshit it does, and Congress taking back their power from it would make all these debates irrelevant.
