Halt and Catch Fire is back for it's final season, another show that started slow out the gate before it really started coming into it's own in the back half of the first season. You can catch up on Netflix if you haven't seen it already.

I actually loved the first 2 seasons. Quit watching after.

With the third season being better than the first, I find that kind of odd. You should pick it back up, if you've got the time.

I might do. I really liked it when they were figuring out the new computer (season 1), then the new networking service (season 2). Then the engineer gets sick, and his wife loses her mind, and things get dysfunctional. I liked it better when the focus was on invention, rather than things falling apart.

You might change your mind once you see just how well things fall apart in the third season come the end of it. Also in the fourth season it seems like more inventing is going to creep back into the mix, though I haven't seen the first two episodes yet, but it just seems likely given where things leave off at the end of the third season. So the show seems to have you covered either way, from what I hear the show might be getting even better.

I am 3 episodes in, good so far (great soundtrack too), is it worth seeing it through, or is it gonna be unresolved crap like Lost?

The show may yet fall into a similar trap that LOST did, but it hasn't happened quite yet, I worry going forward though. Shows that rely heavily on mystery sometimes tend to not be as good once too many of those mysteries get solved, it's hard for shows of that nature to have the answers be as good as the questions.
