You can still get "wild" salmon at the store. But you have to make sure it's not farmed. Farmed fish is really bad for you.

Serve with potatoes and a nice Crème fraîche - herb sauce.

25 to 30 minutes is too long. You don't want to over cook it. 15 to 20 should be plenty.

Yeah, I don't cook fish for long at all. It's still cooking when you pull it out of the oven or a pan.

Why would you buy salmon like that? It's one of the easiest things on earth to season and cook right. What's in that "pesto butter"? :?
Because I'm lazy and can afford it. I buy it and season it myself from other stores and the price isn't much lower.

And pesto butter is butter infused with pesto.

You can make that yourself by melting down butter, mixing pesto into it, and re-chilling the butter

And you can make pesto by blending pinenuts, basil, parmesan and a little olive oil in a food processor. Loads more flavour than what you get in a jar.

How much do you get salmon for?

Our food prices are way cheaper than when I go visit my inlaws in Michigan

Best Montez post ever. I'm getting hungry, but obligated save up for tonight.

Still 8.5 hours til the Preds-Ducks viewing party. No cheating.
