I'm gonna check out Bojack.

I thought Stranger Things was kind of irritating. Those kids are fucking turds.

I think I just like complaining about things more than the actual things themselves. I love to complain. I do it all the time. My complaints aren't baseless though. Most television is pretty lousy, and shows I used to like are undergoing entropy.

New trailer looks very promising.
Another show I'm worried about in the future after a good first season, seems very boom or bust moving forward, both of those shows, keep your fingers crossed folks.
Got rid of Hopkins, who was the best character along with Ed Harris. What a bummer. I really didn't not like that Black British Hooker.

The Leftovers finished real strong, Better Call Saul is getting better, that's half the big four stepping their game up this year, even if one of those shows won't be back going forward.

The use of Anthony Hopkins in Westworld was lame, if they were only going to have him for one season, have him do more than smile cryptically for most of the season, it would be one thing if he was going to come back in flashbacks, but he's not so that's just poor use of a tip of the iceberg character, we wanted to see the fucking iceberg, silly showrunners.

They should have done more with him for sure. He had a few really good scenes though.

True, I'm just ticked the writers didn't use their time with him more wisely is all, they knew they only had 10 episodes with his services and we barely find out anything about him, and everything we find out about his character in the future, won't be as interesting without his acting presence to make it all come across that much more compelling. There is other characters they were doing the tip of the iceberg thing with as well, did they really have to do that with the character of an actor we wanted to see more range out of in his limited time on screen?

Also I worry that once we get to bottom of the icebergs, and the mystery is solved, the show will far apart, I've seen many great shows that lean on mystery like this take a downturn once that happens. Either they solve too much of the mystery unsatisfactorily or they don't tie up enough loose ends in order to preserve the sense of mystery in attempt to make the ending unpredictable. It's a common problem, a problem that The Leftovers adeptly avoided, after learning from the mistakes made on LOST, but it's a problem that I worry Westworld is unlikely to avoid, I just hope to get as much juice squeezed from that lemon as possible before that happens. That's the most realistic expectation of that show going forward, from my perspective anyhow.

I just finished the first season of Fargo. Billy Bob Thornton was awesome. Are the other seasons as good?

The second season is even better than the first, the third season is pretty good too, though not as good as the previous two, but it's still one of the best shows on television these days. Hell during it's first two seasons, Fargo was the best show on television, in the wake of Breaking Bad ending it's run.

Basically Fargo is the shit. Keep watching.

I started watching that Midnight, TX show this morning because I enjoy the novels. The characters are really true to the novels, and the first season is true to the first book from what I can remember.

However, the difference between network TV and HBO/Netflix is painfully obvious. Network producers are always compelled to add a element of corniness that I just don't understand why

I liked Stranger Things. I could've cared less about Nancy's problems with her 80s douche boyfriend but I did like Eleven and also Hopper. Also this:
