No fishing license required so maybe the illegal immigration problem is actually solving something for a change.

Move to the coast. Growing up, my dad used to have us trapping shrimp off the causeway in the intercoastal, catching mullet with nets, etc. If you live on the coast, you can actually pull in a decent amount of protein for free with a little time. You live in a fucking van, so all you have to do is park, drop your traps, and sleep through the night.

To this day, seafood to me feels like eating on the cheap. I'd rather have a burger. You can eat shrimp only for so many days.

I figure there must be a way to put them into a grinder and make dog food out of them or something.

Alligator gar, too. I see too many of them. I feel like their numbers need to be thinned.

Gator is really, really tough. You have to pound it with a mallet for a good twenty minutes to get one of those cuts tenderized enough to cook and then eat. It's not really worth it, honestly.

Turns out they're edible and leap into your boat--people are just scared to eat them because they think they'll taste like regular muddy big goldfish.
Ohhhhhhh boy!

Let them eat carp?
Sounds good to me.

St. Andrews lot fees are 28 bucks a night. You can get a camping spot with power and water, and there are showers, bathrooms, and laundry on the grounds as well. You can get a lot on the lagoon. The beaches are crawling with hermit crabs, and there are shady areas where you can get buckets of fiddler crabs. Then you can fish for mullet in the lagoon. A ten minute bike ride will have you at the beach.

Oh, nothing like that when I grew up. Does not look tasty at all.
