The Avs are interested in Shattenkirk and want to maybe give him more years than anyone else will. Please don't do that, for the love of god, don't overpay Shattenkirk and give him a long term deal, are we insane? We are not competitive, it's about time we stopped pretending otherwise.

Not from a shitty source either, I'm legit worried we are actively considering it. Not only that but we are apparently thinking about giving him the longest term of any team looking to sign him and that's what is keeping us in the running for him. Scary stuff.
