If the Sharks lose this series, Karlsson and Burns being unable to handle the Avs forecheck is going to be a big reason why they lost. Karlsson and Burns great at clogging up that neutral zone, but get pucks in behind them and make them battle down low with their back to Grubauer, and they ain't so hot.

Pucks in deep, aggressive forecheck, traffic in front, pucks on net, wash-rinse-repeat. The gameplan is simple, if the Avs execute, they'll win, if they don't, they'll choke.

Babcock staying confirmed, figures they'd puss out and give him one more chance he doesn't deserve.

Bishop standing on his head while his team gets run out the rink, more Game Seven OT, these playoffs are great.

Marlies fall behind to Cleveland 2-0, then come roaring back to win 6-2

Two goals for Trevor Moore, two goals for Mason Marchment, four goal second period.

7 playoff wins in a row, back to back sweeps.

My boy Adam Brooks is panning out as a sleeper pick.

Jeremy Bracco has real deal NHL offensive upside.

Rasmus Sandin is already the horse on the back end.

Tim Liljegren has been surprisingly good defensively.

Marlies have size coming, 6'4" 200 lbs; Pierre Engvall, Egor Korshkov, Mason Marchment

Just what the doctor ordered, especially on the size tip.

The Leafs development program is impressive.

I write guys off as long shots, next thing I know they look like NHL players.

Like Engvall, not going to be a star, but could play in the NHL right now; 7th round pick.

Mason Marchment, he's kind of an awkward skater, but he's not slow, perfect 4th line grinder; undrafted.

Egor Korshkov could end up making Hunter Hockey Genius look like a genius.

Just the combination of size, physicality, nastiness, with potential top six offensive upside.

Now I can see Korshkov playing with Matthews and Nylander, bigger, meaner, more skilled version of Hyman.

Wish the Avs development program was as impressive, instead of a former dumpster fire starting to move in the right direction, but still.....

The Avs development program used to be, throw them in the NHL ASAP and see if they sink or swim, what's a farm team?
