As a deist, do you think that God most corresponds to Christian ideals, or do you think that Buddhists, Muslims, Taoists etc can be equally close? Do you believe in Heaven or Hell? Do you believe in an afterlife at all?
Stand by, I gotta smash some pizza with wine at sunset here on the deck

Sounds like you got it made. What kind of pizza are you eating tonight? If possible, go for extra meat, sausage, pepperoni, salami, with some hot pepper flakes. That's how you do it right.

What, no pineapple?
Bloody conservatives.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I have eaten pineapple pizza. I have noticed if you add some salt, you get a good contrast from the fruit (sweetness vs saltiness) which is good. Its not my favorite however, but I am not ideologically against it.

Anchovies are too salty for me. I eat canned seafood now and again. I think cannned octopus is delicious. Squid, not so much. It is packaged with ink, which I do not like. I also don't like the aggressive nature of squid. They will often attack nature doc camera men, as well as innocent sperm whales, which is not cool.

I used two cans of clams to make some linguine the other night, which turned out amazing. Oysters in a can are also delicious, even though oysters act as the sea's liver and are probably filtering AIDS water and lead poisoning.

Finished The Wire today.
Great ending, I was worried that they would screw it up but I think they did a good job. Tied up all the story lines but showed that the game carries on regardless.

Going to start on Breaking Bad now to see if that's as good as everyone says.
You fucking lucky son of a bitch. You get to watch the greatest shows of all time for the first time, so jealous.

I've just watched the first two episodes. Difficult to go to straight after The Wire as it is a bit slapstick in comparison.
I'm not gripped yet.

The Wire was a slow burn too, as you recall. All the greatest shows of all time are, whether they grip you right off the bat or not.

Breaking Bad is very different show in tone from The Wire, the juxtaposition is notable.

The first season of Breaking Bad is good, but it's not really until the second season that the show really starts to take off, and the writers strike played a big role in that. Every season of Breaking Bad is better than the previous season, of the greatest shows of all time, it's the most snowball effect of them all.
