Re: Socialism
Leftist dogma thrives and flourishes on factoids, but will whither and die when exposed to facts.

Maybe America should stop buying so much Chinese crap if it really wants to reduce its carbon emissions.DBTrek wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2019 2:57 pm

Easier to blame everyone else than accept responsibility for your own actions though.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

That's how detached from reality these guys are. As soon as they realize America is kicking ass on curbing its emissions while China is fucking the planet bareback, they go:
"Maybe America should stop buying so much Chinese crap"
... because China fucking the planet up is ALSO America's fault.
And then the poor dears, utterly lacking any self-awareness, finish their post with "Easier to blame everyone else than accept responsibility for your own actions though" . . . right after blaming America for China's CO2 emissions.

Maybe you should give up your second property (like Brewster should give up his environmentally damaging multiple properties) and actually try to help the Earth, before you lecture Americans who aren't on the NHS dole about how to save the planet.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2019 3:08 pmMaybe America should stop buying so much Chinese crap if it really wants to reduce its carbon emissions.DBTrek wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2019 2:57 pm

Blaming American consumption of Chinese goods for China's emissions is no stretch.DBTrek wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2019 3:13 pmMontegriffo wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2019 3:08 pmMaybe America should stop buying so much Chinese crap if it really wants to reduce its carbon emissions.

If you really care about China's CO2 emissions stop buying their crap.

Re: Socialism
My point still stands. There is no way you get from the United Kingdom of the Islamic State to France without emitting an enormous wasteful amount of carbon. Since you have repeatedly said you like castles and shit like that, undoubtedly a lot of your planet destroying activities are completely superfluous. You are encouraging all of us to have Spartan lifestyles to lower our carbon. Why not lead by example? Either live in France permanently or sell your property. Also, I like how you attempted to pull rank on me over careers and class shame. I am poor (though I am not stealing from the taxpayers and living off socialism the way you are). I wish I could care more about the planet, but I don't have the resources or connections. I'm living hand to mouth. I have to get a permit from the Florida department of meals every time I want to cook outdoors, as well as a permit for my bic razor everytime I want to shave. If I had the money I'd buy locally grown produce and meat.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2019 3:03 pmNone of the above is true.Walk me through this: You hate the West, you hate freedom, you hate democracy, consume as much shit as everyone else
Ps, I only own one house. I live in a truck on a farm in England. This is why I can afford to travel.
Also, I am self-employed. I own my own business and pay myself well.
If shelf stacking paid well you would do the same.

And that's how to dismantle not-so-bright leftist Euros in between work projects.
Almost not worth the marginal effort.
