Nick Kypreos trolling Dubas relentlessly about Marner's contract.

We Can and We Will is under constant attack.

I think he will sign them all and he won't trade any of them this year, but it will be around $40 million cap hit.

3 x 11 + 7

Thus it is going to be interesting to see who gets traded outside of the core and for what.

They're basically going to have to find cheaper depth guys and the Big Four are going to have to score.

The media seem overly sure that Nylander will be traded, lack of imagination on their part to not realize they could easily just trade players who aren't part of the core to get a little cap space.

I don't see Dubas trading Nylander literally months after he said he wouldn't.

But like you say, there's other places to find cap room, Kadri is a good price for a 2C but not a 3C

They had Jake Gardiner on the bottom pairing at the end.

Hainsey is a $3 million bottom pair defensemen.

Brown makes $2 million to play on the fourth line.

There's $13.5 million right there.

Was fun to see the Avs outplay the Sharks at their own game, heavy cycling in offensive zone, activating the defense and counter attacking off the trap ftw.

Not a good sign for San Jose going forward, if they can't even beat the Avs playing their own brand of hockey, kind of hard to win the series.

I think the Avs can win the cup, there's no one in their way, if they can just stay on a roll.

Watch out for Dallas tho.

Miro Heiskanen is the real deal.

He's going to be a hall of famer.

Yeah Dallas is a tougher matchup than St. Louis for sure, hopefully the Blues take out the Stars. Heiskanen is pretty damn dope, and if Bishop can stay on a roll, they could make a solid darkhorse candidate.
