I'll probably regret it but I got the Anthem preorder. I played the demo and they definitely liberated a lot of Destiny's features and creatures. A few of the mission I swore were almost a Destiny mission verbatim. The world was a bit more defined and the layout makes it seem huge. The fireteams were fun and you have to work together to make it through. I liked the Ranger class, it was a good mix of support and punch.

Overall looking for some good fire fights. I just hope the online shop sticks to cosmetic goods.

I think it’s going to be cosmetics only. As for the rest, they took a lot from what Destiny should have been and put it into Anthem. I also think they learned from other endeavors too.

Some people already beat the main campaign, honestly I don’t know how in the 10 hour timeline, unless they ran through it without actually “learning” anything, or doing any of the side quests etc.

I am personally tired of seeing these bum rushers destroy what would otherwise be a fun game for the others. By the time the commentary or story is done ½ the mission has been “blown” through by these rushers. Meh. I am tempted to do the game by myself if a team can’t get on the same page.

Either way, the game has potential, it is going to have to allow more customization to keep people playing long term, but I can’t be too sure when because parts of the game seemed rushed, as in textures on characters don’t seem complete, and the lack of real textures seem to be missing.

The game play is mostly smooth if you don’t get into the random lag/kick screen.

The enemies are plentiful, and you should need a team to beat them. The AI actually seem mostly smart in numbers, when they get reduced they seem to loose intelligence. I’d like to know if they use a hive mind process to keep tabs on people.

Either way, I’m sure there is going to be a soloist showing it can be done alone, but there always is.

The game has potential, but it’s going to have the same issue as Destiny unless it opens up a hell of a lot more and makes the game more than what we see now.

You all took a moment to watch Diablo die, I hope.

You really need to take the time to full-screen that video and read the comments in real time.

Yeah, I did. It was remarkable, you could see the torpedo hit and the ship instantly taking on water.
