The more I think about it, the more upsetting it is. Take that SilverPensFaggot, he's got to be reeling, if he even knows enough about hockey to know just how badly his team just fucked up that is.Smitty-48 wrote:He's not that far off neither, he'll be playing with Taresenko before you know it.

Seriously, Kostin could play in the NHL next year, he's the first overall pick from Europe, it's only the Russian factor that scrared teams off, but he'll come over to play with Tarasenko, and for the money, the KHL ain't paying like it used to.

They are actually, Kostin could have and would have literally stepped in with Malkin, right away. I bet he plays for St. Louis next year, and I bet they think so too, which is why they made that trade.

The Avalance were just one pick away Smitty, this really stings.
2017, the draft of disappointment, at least we got Makar, but that's so not enough. I think Sakic slept through the last few picks of the first round, before waking up and telling everyone "Duchene will be back after all everybody! How do you like them apples?".

Maybe I should try to become an NHL GM, hardly any of these idiots has a clue what the fuck they are doing, I'd fleece these chumps so hard. Too bad my resume sucks and the NHL is an old boys club, dream dashed.

I'm betting Kostin at 31st overall will end up being the steal of the draft, it's only the Russian factor that caused him to drop.

Kostin, Tolvanen and Liljegren are the early frontrunners, that's for sure. It wasn't only the Russian factor, his production wasn't great, he had a bad year stat wise, but fucking still, what morons most NHL teams are for passing on him outside of the top 10. They are worried he's Valeri Nichushkin 2.0 or something, fools.Smitty-48 wrote:I'm betting Kostin at 31st overall will end up being the steal of the draft, it's only the Russian factor that caused him to drop.

Well, at this time last year, it was projected to go Patrick, Liljegren, Kostin, top three, now, that's not written in stone, but Liljegren and Kostin haven't turned into chop liver in one year, they will both be steals methinks. Tolvanen too, Fife will likey the Finnish Tarasenko, no doubt.
