Tonight, the @Orioles became the first pro team to wear uniforms with Braille lettering. Awesome. #BiggerThanBaseball

I suspect there are a lot of blind baseball fans, actually, because of the statistical nature of the game and the fact that they can listen to games on the radio (probably have been for generations). If there are a lot of such fans, it would be kind of cool for them to hear from the announcers about something like this.

Just saying.

I was really hoping the Giants could have put them away yesterday. The least they can do after having such a shit season is to put the nail in the LA October hopes

Same with cricket. It’s a game made for stats. I’ve not watched live cricket on the TV since Sky acquired the rights 15 years ago.
Test match special on the radio is a national treasure though so I’m missing nothing.
When a match lasts 5 days no one has the time to sit and watch it all any way.
At least with it on the radio you can get on with other things.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Yeah they got to sell more jerseys and they can't do it by winning.

Yeah, the Orioles do this stuff a lot. The Owner Angelos will whore out his brand to just about anybody. They were the first team to officially license hats in Hebrew.
